CEHTRA has decades of experience in dealing with the risk assessments for both Human Health and Environment required to satisfy all the European directives whether for Plant Protection Products, Biocides or Chemicals (existing substances and notifications and now REACH).

The team recognises how important it is to validate regulatory toxicology and ecotoxicology studies, avoiding a “box ticking approach”, preferring to apply science and experience in a scientifically applied weight of evidence approach, whenever possible.

First tier assessments are refined through extensive use of literature data and when risk characterisation shows that it is necessary, more realistic scenarios are proposed and established so as to made the best use of the Regulatory end points.
